From Seed to Table: The Yearlong Garden & Homestead Experience

Have you ever wished you could truly experience the rhythms of a growing season—from seed to harvest? For a while now, I’ve been sitting with an idea. Not a workshop. Not a weekend retreat. Something longer, slower, and more rooted. This is exactly what I wish I had been able to sign up for six years ago, before I dove into farming. In 2027, I am ready to share all the knowledge and sometimes hard lessons I have learned!

This is for the person who wants to understand where food truly comes from. For the one who wants soil on their hands, real knowledge they can use, and the deep satisfaction of growing and harvesting alongside a small, committed community. Together, we’ll show up month after month for eight mornings—one season, side by side—on 67 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We’ll plant seeds in February, tend the herb cottage, compost, harvest, preserve, and finally, sit down in September for a true farm-to-table dinner made entirely from what we grew.

Choose your track:

  • Garden Series: The full journey from seed to table—culinary and medicinal herbs, food preservation, heirloom varieties, and seed saving. Sow, Grow, and Gather!

  • Homestead Series: Everything in the Garden Series, plus hands-on sessions with chickens, ducks, goats, bees, and a big-picture look at how it all forms a living ecosystem.

Every session includes a farm lunch, hands-on time in the garden or with the animals, and something to take home. Nearly every month, you’ll leave with seedlings, herb bundles, tea blends, or seeds you saved yourself. If you miss a session, don’t worry—each one is recorded and shared privately within 48 hours.

Space is intentionally limited to 8–10 participants. That intimacy is part of what makes this experience so meaningful.

If you’re interested or have questions, send me an email—I’d love to talk with you about joining our inaugural season-long series. Enrollment opens January 2027, and space will fill quickly.
